There is cow’s milk and animal-based milk that is available, yet some people choose camel milk, and you will be wondering why. It is because camel milk is rich in nutrients and is pivotal for complete health. Camel milk is something that can be easily compared to cow’s milk in terms of carb content, protein, and calories. But the main fact is that camel milk is low in saturated fats and it offers more vitamins like B, C, Calcium, Potassium, Iron, and so on.

For Milk Allergy People

Besides that, fresh camel milk can also be a good option for those who have lactose intolerance or those who have allergies to milk. The deficiency of lactase causes a common condition that is lactose intolerance. The enzyme that is required to digest the sugar in dairy is called lactose. Some people also suffer from bloating, diarrhoea and pain in the abdomen after the consumption of the milk or dairy products.  One of the things that you should know is that camel milk contains lactose, which is less than that of cow’s milk, due to which camel is more tolerable for several people who are suffering from lactose intolerance.

There was a study conducted on 25 people with a similar condition. It was found that only 2 people out of 25 had mild reactions to 250 ml of camel milk, whereas the rest of the people were unaffected. Camel milk has been used successfully for hundreds of years to treat diarrhoea caused by the rotavirus. According to research, camel milk contains antibodies that aid in the healing of diarrheal disease, which is common in children. Camel milk is also known to lower blood sugar and enhance insulin sensitivity in individuals suffering from both type 1 and type 2 diabetes. Camel milk contains insulin-like properties that aid in anti-diabetic activity. Insulin is a hormone that checks blood sugar levels.
